Picture
Nkazi Nchinda

Nkazi is a second year MD-PhD student in the Harvard-MIT HST program. He grew up outside Milwaukee, WI and graduated from Harvard College in 2021 with an A.B. in Biomedical Engineering. Following graduation, he studied Global Health Science and Epidemiology at the University of Oxford, researching the evolution of new HIV strains in UNAIDS key populations. After an additional year studying Public Policy, he's excited to be back in Boston studying how cancer cells evolve and which selective pressures guide this evolution. Outside of the lab, you’ll find him baking new recipes or exploring new photography spots in Boston.
