Florence Verbeek, BA

Florence Verbeek as a visiting graduate student from the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands. Florence is currently pursuing a medical degree as well as a masters degree in Biomedical Sciences. She has previously studied drug resistance in gastrointestinal malignancies. Her work in the lab will focus on therapeutic targeting of cohesin-mutant MDS and AML. Outside of the lab, she is an avid CrossFitter, and enjoys reading and watching reruns of The Office. ​​
