Tothova Lab - Genetics and Epigenetics of Blood Cancers

Liana Tellez

Liana is a research associate and the Broad Genomics Scholar in the Tothova lab. She received her BA in biological sciences from Northwestern University, where she worked on elucidating mechanisms of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in the context of C9orf72 and NEK1 mutations using iPSC-derived motor neurons. She has joined our lab as a research associate and will be working on different aspects of cohesin biology in the context of blood cancers. In her spare time, Liana enjoys playing the piano, spending time with friends, and listening to podcasts.
